Heartbreak Engines: Das Ende!

Die Essener Band Heartbreak Engines wird am 30. Dezember ihren letzten Auftritt im Berliner Wild At Heart absolvieren. Schon seid Tagen kursieren die Gerüchte, doch bis heute ist auf der offiziellen Homepage der Band sowie auf der Labelseite keine offizielle Stellungnahme zu lesen. Doch nun wurde der Flyer veröffentlicht, der auch vom "Last Gig" spricht. Und auf der Seite der Booking Agentur ist zu lesen:

We’re outta here... The upcoming show on 12/30/08 at the Wild At Heart in Berlin will be our final show for the foreseeable future. We’re gonna make this a big party of course ! Details regarding this very special evening will follow soon. After weeks and months of thinking things over, the time has come to announce a break for the band. There’s a lot of reasons for this decision and it’s almost impossible to exlpain. As a band, we tried from the very beginning to break down boundaries and live the original spirit of Rock ‘n’ Roll, in our very own way. The difficulties that came with that, plus some other problems we built up during our six year long exsistence lead to some kind of burn-out, which makes a break necessary. We would like to thank all our fans, friends and supporters who stuck with us along the way and we’d like to apologize for this. Never say never, but at this point there’s really nothing more to say.
